Online payments for your product entitle you to the as advertised goods. You should receive these in fresh, usable condition. If you do not we insist that you contact us immediately by telephone on 01292 265532 or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org so we can resolve the situation.
1 Terms & Conditions
1.1 Should any of the items be shipped incorrectly then an immediate replacement will be sent out. Refunds will not always be possible, although partial refunds may be, due to the nature of our perishable products.
1.2 All online ordering will be sent out same day (if ordered before 12:30pm) or the next working day. We do not ship goods on Saturdays or Sundays. Any enquiries as to expected shipping should be made in advance, we cannot be held responsible for any loss of earnings as a result of food ordered online. Unless we specifically agree to set times in advance and in writing we will not be held responsible.
1.3 We have many important wholesale customers across the UK, and local organisations and businesses and we always strive to offer the best customer service. Should you feel dissatisfied with the product then we expect you to contact us in a timely manner to discuss the issue. Negative feedback or inaccurate reviews on social media will be investigated, if this is unwarranted or unproven. J. Pieroni & Sons Ltd. has built a great reputation for good, reliable service, and we always resolve issues with customers fairly for both parties.
1.4 We will use reputable courier companies (APC, DHL, Royal Mail 24 hour, etc) at all times and all orders are processed on computers. This gives both ourselves and the customer an accurate indication of orders placed should any disputes arise. We again would like you to contact us in the first instance to resolve fairly and reasonably any problem or perceived error in an order handling or product delivery.
1.5 If an order is mistakenly placed, answerphone messages can be left 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on 01292 265532. We will prepare our orders at 3 intervals during weekdays. Courier collections will be 2pm or after. Any unusually large orders we will check with customer using details provided. This minimises the likelihood of mistakes on customers parts and the situation where customers may complain of the wrong order being placed. Again, orders will appear in our email system, as well as our website, so emails can be sent to email@example.com if there are changes to the order.
1.6 orders can be cancelled and amended if an account is created. Again this is not failsafe and contacting us dircectly by phone or email is expected in this event. The website is clear in what quantity is being ordered (adding to cart, checking out, total charges) so we will not be held responsible for losses, but will resolve and work to help our customers when mistakes are made.
2. Security and Date Protection
2.1 Our website is on secure UK web hosting provided by www.mavento.co.uk. Our booking system utilises wordpress, woocommerce and uses secure payment gateways Paypal and also Worldpay, both of which or hosted by the third-party renowned payment specialists and use secure socket layer encryption.
2.2 We take every precaution to ensure online security and integrity, but cannot guarantee it 100% due to the nature of computers, and we cannot be held responsible for paypal or worldpay errors. These are world renowned services which have had no issues in recent years and offer both parties payment protection and will resolve issues involving our transactions.
2.3 At no stage do J. Pieroni & Sons Ltd have any access to customer payment details for online transactions. These are handled by paypal and worldpay (both of which handle credit card and banking transactions over secure internet protocols). We cannot be held responsible for any online crimes that customers may fall victim to, but will use our insurances and do everything within reasonable means to help resolve, comply with investigations and share our records should any issues arrive from using our website.
2.4 We will have a record of our customers address details and email addresses. We will from time to time send the occasional promotional email / newsletter. This will be handled using MailChimp software and allows the customer to unsubscribe automatically. Should this fail, at any time and you are not wishing to receive any email from us, then please do contact the us directly.
2.5 We will never share our customer information with any other party (unless in the above instance of online theft, police investigation or similar unlikely scenarios). We will backup and remove past order information from our secure website database occasionally, but again adhere to current UK data protection legislation and will never sell, share or otherwise misuse our customer information.
Please contact us in advance with any questions. The numbers and email address, as well as our business location are displayed clearly. We ship to the UK only and do this with next day courier. We cannot be held responsible for courier problems (although they have insurances in place for orders) and any orders that go outwith the expected norm (very large quantities or orders over £200.00) we would recommend calling us in advance to check procedures for shipping, packaging or collection.
